POSITION:
The purpose of the Sales Manager is to support strong active studio memberships by bringing new prospects to the studios, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Sales Manager also assists with retaining and providing unmatched customer service to current members. This individual will be responsible for driving sales with a motivating and enthusiastic attitude. You’ll thrive in this position with an outgoing personality, high level of organization, and the ability to build rapport and quickly convert. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the General Manager in achieving company and studio-level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, and community outreach 
  • Meet and/or exceed personal and studio sales goals
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with the Leadership Team
  • Keep General Manager informed of challenges, progress, and results
  • Own the client experience in the studio and serve as the studio-level point of contact for clients and staff 
  • Create a positive client experience environment and resolve customer complaints as they arise 
  • Build and drive in-studio and market engagement and activations
  • Develop strategies to retain clients
  • Ensure daily tasks are executed by Sales Representatives
  • Collaborate with the Sales Teams and share tasks across studios, where appropriate
  • Support marketing efforts and execute the sales process of lead generation, follow up and close
  • Develop content for the studio's social media platforms  
  • Monitor social media platforms for client issues and client engagement
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
  • Support the General Manager in mentoring and training Sales Representatives
  • Supervise studio staff and manage staff schedules
  • Merchandise, data enter, stock, and reconcile inventory for retail and other products
  • Maintain an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are always available for clients including cleanliness inventory, wipes, towels, programming and marketing materials, etc. 
  • Emphasize and enforce the objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness provider 
  • As the face of the studio when clients walk in, welcome clients, check clients into class, navigate point of sale and scheduling software, and process front desk transactions 
  • Attend and complete all relative training programs (i.e. ClubReady) 
  • Attend all staff meetings as scheduled 
  • Attend all Pure Barre National Sales Calls (weekly) 
  • Act as a Pure Barre Brand & Studio Ambassador for all initiatives and business streams 
  • Responsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by the Owner 
  • Perform specific cleaning tasks as assigned to ensure standards of cleanliness are observed to ensure client and employee safety 
  • Set up the studio prior to class; reset and clean the studio after every class; set up the studio every night for the next day’s class 
  • Build a supportive and fun studio environment and foster positive working relationships 
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures
  • Conduct all personal business prior to and after leaving the studio
  • Any other duties as assigned by the studio owner
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
  • Warm welcoming and engaging personality
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Must have proficient computer skills and the ability to learn and use the club management software system
  • Must have excellent communication skills via in-person, phone, text, and email
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with social media content development preferred
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • College Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Representatives
  • Authorization to work in the United States required
  • This position is a full-time position that requires availability to work a rotating, weekday and weekend, evening and morning schedule
